Medicare Plan Comparison

Plan G is the best Medicare plan to buy. We find the cheapest one.

Enter your zip, age, income, and medications. We search every Medigap Plan G carrier in your state and every Part D plan against your specific medications. You get back two ranked tables and the math, so you can pick the cheapest combination for the same federally-standardized coverage.

How we make money — the entire list
  1. $49 one-time for the personalized Medicare comparison
  2. $49/year Watchdog subscription (optional, opt-in only)
  3. One-time digital products above ($14–$79)
  4. Affiliate revenue from non-Medicare products only — telehealth, hearing aids, prescription discount cards, expat health insurance, medical alerts. Never Medicare plans.
  5. Future: B2B licensing to fee-only financial advisors who want Medicare guidance for their clients without becoming Medicare agents.

We don't take agent commissions. We don't sell leads. We don't refer you to brokers. Read the full methodology page for the unabridged version.

Common questions

Why $49 if everything is free elsewhere?
Information is free everywhere. Comparison isn't. Medicare.gov shows you data; agent sites show you their own carriers. Nobody in the U.S. publicly ranks every Medigap carrier and every Part D plan against your specific situation with no commission attached. That's what $49 buys — the comparison nobody else can give you for structural reasons.
What if I'm in a state you haven't ingested yet?
We tell you upfront in the results. If your state's filed Medigap rates aren't loaded, we say so honestly and either refund the $49 or give you the carrier list to call directly (Plan G coverage is identical across all carriers, so the cheapest one is always the right answer).
Will an agent call me?
No. We don't sell leads. We don't share your information with insurance companies, agents, or brokers. We're a publisher, not an agency.
What's the Watchdog actually doing?
Each October — when Medicare's Annual Election Period opens and your current plan sends its 30-page Annual Notice of Change — we re-run your comparison against the new year's plans and send you a one-page email: stay, or switch, with the math. You can cancel any time.
Is this just for new Medicare enrollees?
No. About half the use case is people already on Medicare who want to know if they're overpaying. Plan G premiums and Part D plans change every year — most beneficiaries never re-shop after their first enrollment, and lose $1,000-$2,400/year for it.
